we knew that there was a picture in that week’s EW issue that
“captain swan fans will want to see” and then we saw it and it was this:

OH, THE SHIT WAS LOST. remember, this is early in season 3 where Neal
is not yet actually dead and we just had season 2 where 2b had no Hook
at all and most people still think we’re off our nut for thinking that
CS was going to be a thing. Jen had teased that “it’s always fun when
you get to kiss someone” and we were basically sure it was Hook, so we
were already on high alert. This was the first time we were conclusively
validated that CS was romantic and happening, even though most of us,
myself included, had predicted it all along. And we basically went
crazy.
Then came the gif. Which I don’t have, but it moved. IT MOOOOOOOOVED.
EW openly admitted they were camping out in our tag and laughing at our fangirl explosions.
Then came the preview for 3x05 with a “shocking” (trolololololol) “hookup”:

WE MADE ALL THE EDITS, ALL THE GIFS, ALL THE GRAPHICS, ALL THE GENERAL DEADNESS HAPPENED AND LEFT NO FANGIRL BEHIND. IT WAS A TSUNAMI OF FEELS LIKE YOU CAN BARELY IMAGINE IN THE DAYS WHEN WE GET KISSES AND CUTE STUFF AND COUPLENESS ON THE REGULAR.
